Short answers about signing in, your feed and your data.
How do I sign in?
You can sign in with your email and a password, with Google or, on iPhone and iPad, with Apple. Always sign in the same way you created your account.
If you can't sign in, write to us from your account's email address and describe what happens.
How does Relevant choose what I see?
When you start, you choose topics and sources, and you can describe what interests you in your own words. After that, your feed learns from what you read, save, like and hide.
You can change all of this at any time in Profile: Topics, Sources and In your own words.
Where does the news come from?
From Macedonian and regional media. When several outlets cover the same event, you see one story with all its sources under it. The original article is one tap away.
Stories from the sources you follow, in Profile → Sources, show closer to the top.
Who writes the summaries?
The short summaries are written with AI from the sources' articles. They can be wrong, so the sources are always one tap away for you to check.
How do I report a wrong or misleading story?
Write to contact@relevant.mk. Include the story's headline, when you saw it and what isn't right. A screenshot helps a lot.
If you'd only like fewer stories like it, choose Hide or Not interested in the story's menu. You'll then see fewer similar ones.
How do the daily briefing and notifications work?
The daily briefing is a short summary of what matters to you, once a day, at a time you choose. If you allow notifications, you get 1 notification a day, when the briefing is ready.
Change the time and notifications in Profile → Daily briefing. You can also turn notifications off in your phone's settings.
Why does Relevant use my location?
Only to show you news from your area, and it's optional. Your approximate city comes from your internet connection, and your device's location is used only if you allow it. Only the city is kept, not your IP address, and your location is never tracked in the background.
In Profile → Local news you can change your city or turn off device location.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, open Profile → Account → Delete account and confirm. Your account and all your data are deleted at once and for good: saved stories, interests, briefings and reading history. This can't be undone.
If you can't sign in, write to contact@relevant.mk from your account's email address with the subject “Delete my account”. The account and all data linked to it are then deleted within 30 days.
Which devices does Relevant work on?
On iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later, and on Android phones and tablets with Android 7.0 or later.

Relevant doesn't sell your data or track you across other apps and websites. The privacy policy explains which data is processed, why, and what your rights are.
